Rory is an energy, mining and infrastructure executive with over 20 years’ experience across Australia, Southeast Asia and Africa. He specialises in project development, capital markets and complex commercial structuring, with deep expertise in project finance, treasury, joint ventures, offtake negotiation, financial analysis and ESG.

At Woodside Energy Group, Rory led the commercial development and execution of decarbonisation initiatives, establishing frameworks to advance energy transition projects. He also served on the Pilbara Advisory Committee (2024–2025), representing power and renewable proponents driving the decarbonisation of Western Australia’s industrial base. He previously held a senior role within Woodsides group treasury, where he was responsible for major financing, funding and risk management activities, including structuring project financing and host government funding for a West African oil development, delivering large-scale hedging programs, and playing a central role in integrating BHP’s energy division following its 2022 acquisition.

Earlier, Rory held senior institutional banking roles, including Director at ANZ in Singapore, where he managed a regional resources, energy and infrastructure portfolio, delivering complex, cross-border financing solutions across multiple jurisdictions and commodity sectors.
